How do I choose which service to book?
If your doctor has requested a specific examination, select the name and body region stated in the referral. If you are unsure which examination to choose, contact reception.
A medical consultation is always included with every service.
Dr Gargano takes time to listen, assess medical needs and explain the results. His aim is to apply his expertise and make every effort to help identify the most appropriate care pathway for the patient.
Can I book sclerotherapy directly?
For veins and spider veins, a prior colour Doppler ultrasound assessment performed personally by Dr Gargano at the Centre is required. For haemorrhoids, an initial consultation is mandatory. Only book a treatment if it has already been agreed.
Where can I see prices, availability and payment information?
After choosing a service, you can review its price, availability and payment terms before confirming. For lower-limb venous colour Doppler ultrasound, the schedule with extended availability has its own rate for these appointment times: the examination, consultation and quality of assessment remain the same as in the standard schedule. Always check the option you have selected and its terms.
Can I change or cancel an appointment I have already booked?
Yes. You can cancel or change your appointment free of charge up to 24 hours before, with a full refund of the amount paid. To change or cancel a booking, please contact reception.
When should I choose the service with extended availability?
We always recommend considering the standard service first, which offers the same quality of consultation and colour Doppler ultrasound.
The service with extended availability is offered exclusively for lower-limb venous colour Doppler ultrasound with a phlebology consultation. It is intended for people looking for an appointment in the near future or who, because of work or other commitments, find it difficult to attend during standard hours.
It has a dedicated appointment schedule with additional time slots, including weekends and public holidays, subject to actual availability. The examination, consultation and quality of assessment are the same as in the standard service.
Do I need to prepare or bring documents?
Bring any referrals, previous reports and a list of the medicines you take. Some examinations require preparation: follow the instructions provided when booking or ask reception for them.
How do I find the examination requested by my doctor?
Use the “I already know the examination name” button and enter the name or the body area to be examined. You can narrow the results by body area. Compare the service with your referral; if the name differs or you are unsure, ask reception before proceeding.
